VSS runs a graduate development program over a 12 month period where we work alongside your graduate to improve their confidence and gain competence to work independently as a large animal clinician. We help develop professional and clinical large animal veterinary skills and act as an external mentor to further support well-being and personal development.
An annual GDP retainer fee provides clinics with open access support from VSS including (but not limited to) phone support, tutorial materials, veterinary equipment for teaching and assisting and requests for ad hoc support during clinic operating hours.
VSS’ GDP serves to provide a comprehensive cattle-focused training and mentoring program to support transition to rural practice.
