VSS provides a structured graduate development program (GDP) for clinics employing new graduates in mixed animal practice.
VSS’ GDP runs over 12-months where we work alongside your graduate to build confidence and competence to work independently as a large animal clinician. We teach clinical and professional large animal veterinary skills and provide external mentorship to further support well-being and personal development.
A retainer fee gives clinics access to flexible support from VSS including (but not limited to) phone support, tutorial materials, requests for ad hoc support during clinic operating hours and tailored on-site teaching.
VSS’ GDP provides a comprehensive cattle-focused training and mentoring program which proactively supports graduate transition to rural practice.
