VSS knows how difficult it can be to find experienced mixed practice vets. Whilst we prioritise graduate support and development, we can provide locum veterinary services for mixed animal practices.

With nearly 20 years mixed animal clinical experience, VSS has a skill set to reflect this. We can accommodate basic routine and emergency work across all species covering small animal consultation, radiography and surgery, and general equine and farm animal work.

Dairy cattle work has been prioritised over the years with competency in manual pregnancy testing, lameness, sick cows, general bovine surgery and emergency work.

VSS carries its own equipment for large animal veterinary services.
